Dream

Dream is the foundation of a magnificent skyscraper,

Supporting all exciting activities that happen inside.

It is the inspiration that creates a wondrous landmark,

And the fierce desire that strives for better and higher.

Everyone takes the building’s stability for granted,

Yet without the base, the building would only have been a pile of bricks,

That give in to their fate and never dream about reaching the sky.

Dream is an invisible hand,

Its fingers propel us forward with enthusiasm and strength.

Its palm supports and protects us,

Offering us a safe harbor that is far away from the abyss of depression and hopelessness.

Because of its invisibility,

We never even realize its existence until we are trapped inside darkness,

And crave for sparkles of light that would lead us through difficult times.

The light is dream, inextinguishable and blazing.

Dream is a ship’s sail,

Without it we would lose direction and neglect the objective of our life.

Devastated by the unknown future

Or too vain and arrogant about achievement in the present.

Dreams are wings that empower us to fly over landscape of Imaginations.

All we need to live a life full of exciting dreams

Is to have the courage to dream.
